Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of welding techniques and be proficient in working with various materials. This role involves removal and replacement of wear plates. The Welder will work closely with other team members to meet production goals while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate welding equipment and machinery, including Gouging, FCAW, and stick welding processes.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components.
• Collaborate with team members to build complex assemblies while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Rig and operate cranes for lifting heavy materials during the fabrication process.
• Apply basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to welding tasks.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Welder or in a similar role within a manufacturing or construction environment is preferred.
• Experience with removal and replacement of Wear Plates.
• Familiarity with various welding techniques and equipment is essential.
• Experience working with hand tools, power tools, press brake machines, and schematics is highly desirable.
• Ability to read technical documents and follow instructions accurately is crucial for success in this role.
• Have a Valid IRATA rope access ticket

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $58.49-$67.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 88 per week
