Job Responsibility:

OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and mechanical systems, with the ability to fabricate and maintain equipment effectively. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong leadership skills are essential, as you may be responsible for supervising other maintenance staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and machinery.
• Fabricate parts and components as needed to ensure operational efficiency.
• Conduct inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track maintenance activities and inventory.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including logic controllers.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
• Supervise junior maintenance staff, providing guidance and training as necessary.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules without disrupting operations.

Qualifications

• Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in electrical systems preferred.
• Ability to weld and fabricate components as required.
• Familiarity with CMMS software for tracking maintenance tasks.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, for effective communication within the team.
• Previous experience in a maintenance role is highly desirable.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
