Job Responsibility:

Dragados Canada, Inc., the Canadian construction arm of the ACS Group (one of the world's largest international construction and engineering companies), is seeking a talented and experienced Equipment Coordinator to join its dynamic and energetic team.

Dragados Canada was established in 2008 and has grown steadily into an industry-leader in Canada, with offices in Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal, successfully performing a variety of large-scale transportation, bridge, dam, tunnel, and other major infrastructure projects.

Salary range: $68,000-$77,000 (based on relevant experience, qualifications, and skills).

Responsibilities

  • Set up and maintain equipment management program
  • Set up and manage all equipment maintenance schedules
  • Set up and monitor equipment/vehicle telematics
  • Generate equipment utilization reports for all segments
  • Monitor and file all repair and maintenance reports, work orders and maintain master file for the equipment department
  • Confirm outside rental needs with Equipment Manager
  • Generate and review monthly equipment reports with the appropriate personnel (utilization/performance reports and maintenance records)
  • Post equipment hourly usage to job cost
  • Monitor and file all repair and maintenance reports and keeps master file for segments
  • Print weekly log of “open” work orders and distribute accordingly
  • Order parts and manage delivery for work orders
  • Manage and order all maintenance supplies
  • Coordinate with Equipment Manager on utilization reports
  • Schedule and track oil sampling
  • Manage all paperwork on equipment purchases
  • Scan and input receiving documents into equipment or work order files
  • Manage fuel delivery invoicing
  • Perform all routine filing
  • Perform routine data entry
  • Perform other duties as required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or other related discipline
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience working for a construction company is highly preferred
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to understand electronic systems and computer programs/software to monitor fleet for hours, service, utilization, fuel usage, fleet tracking
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and comfortable with technology
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong work ethic
  • Collaborative attitude and strong teamwork skills
  • Exceptional organization skills and high attention to detail
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Ability to prioritize and effectively manage time and workload
  • Class 5 driver license is highly preferred
  • Availability to potentially work evenings, weekends and longer hours if required
