Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble sheet metal components according to specifications and blueprints.
• Install sheet metal products in various settings, including commercial and residential buildings.
• Perform repairs and modifications on existing sheet metal installations.
• Utilize hand tools and machinery safely and effectively for cutting, bending, and shaping metal.
• Conduct quality inspections of finished products to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers to ensure timely project completion.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Mechanic or similar role.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques and tools.
• Ability to operate machinery such as shears, brakes, and plasma cutters.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy materials.
• Familiarity with safety regulations related to sheet metal work is essential.
• Certification or training in HVAC systems or related fields is a plus.

Pay: $20.69-$45.98 per hour
