Belleville's is looking for a strong lead prep cook to join our team! We are a high volume, fast paced, and inclusive kitchen. We are looking for a candidate who is comfortable writing prep lists, reading and executing recipes, multi-tasking, following directions, and coordinating with chefs. Job duties include:

*Writing and managing prep lists, both daily and weekly

*Directing and training prep helpers, and managing assigned tasks

*Preparing, brining, and smoking proteins

*Breaking down and portioning large proteins, eg. beef and fish

*Cooking a variety of sauces, both hot and cold

*Vegetable prep

* Breading and portioning

*Following recipes, managing time, and coordinating tasks

*Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of prep stations and food storage areas, and delegating tasks where necessary

This is a daytime position, so no late nights! We are looking for someone with flexible, full time availability who is able to work weekends and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
