Job Responsibility:

Overview

• We are looking to add this key member to our finance team. This individual is expected to lead the treasury functions and will work closely with the finance group

• Responsible for treasury functions including bank reporting, daily cash and disbursement tracking and borrowing base preparation, reviewing financial transactions, examining cash flow, preparing treasury reports, creating forecasts, assisting with financial reporting

• Develop and implement cash management and foreign exchange strategies for multiple companies

• Determine proper level of liquidity for all bank accounts across multiple banks and currencies.

• Manage ABL credit facilities including internal/external reporting

• Lead administrator for all banking functions

• Reviewing and analyzing bank fees to identify discrepancies and opportunities to reduce operational costs

• Assist in development of cash management and treasury procedures, policies and internal controls

• Develop Cash Flow models and projections, assist with budgeting and forecasting process

• Assist with the month end process, including booking of JE’s and maintaining reconciliations

• Prepare reports for Insurance and credit insurance purposes

• Recommend and support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, improve systems and controls

• Lead the bank audit, annual financial audit and assist with tax reporting

Qualifications Required

• Accounting designation or like academic qualification

• 3-5 years experience in Finance or Accounting

• 1-2 years experience in a treasury role

• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, advanced excel skills, Power BI is an asset

• Microsoft Great Plains and Management Reporter is an asset

• Experience with multi-entity reporting

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Eager and curious to learn
