Job Responsibility:

Part-Time Sales Associate - Flooring Liquidators Ottawa (West Location)*148 Colonnade Road South, Nepean, ON* Salary + commission (Commission begins after 3-week training period)

Work Schedule:

• Monday: Mandatory (10 AM - 6 PM)
• Tuesday: Flexible (10 AM - 6 PM)
• Friday: Flexible(10 AM - 5 PM)
• Saturday: Mandatory (10 AM - 5PM)
• Sunday: Mandatory (11 AM - 4 PM)
• Total: 4-5 days/week

Role Overview:We are seeking a motivated and experienced Full-Time Sales Associate to join our team. This is not an entry-level role — we're looking for someone with a strong background in sales and customer service who can confidently manage showroom operations, work independently, and provide exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and guide them through flooring options
• Provide knowledgeable product recommendations and close sales
• Process customer orders and handle inquiries via phone and email
• Open and close the store independently
• Complete administrative duties: invoicing, filing, scheduling installations
• Maintain showroom cleanliness and perform light housekeeping
• Support marketing efforts via social media and email campaigns

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of sales experience
• Minimum 5 years in customer service
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, QuickBooks, Gmail, POS systems, and social media platforms
• Fluent in English and legally eligible to work in Canada
• Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Professional appearance and strong independent work ethic
