The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry, with expertise in formulating and optimizing formulations for consumer goods. Responsibilities:Formulation Development:

• Develop and optimize formulations for personal hygiene and household cleaning products, including but not limited to soaps, detergents, disinfectants, and surface cleaners.
• Utilize knowledge of chemical properties and interactions to achieve desired product performance, stability, and safety.

Ingredient Selection:

• Research and evaluate raw materials and ingredients for their suitability in formulations, considering factors such as efficacy, cost, and environmental impact.
• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging ingredients to ensure products meet or exceed market expectations.

Quality Assurance:

• Collaborate with quality control teams to establish and maintain product quality standards.
• Conduct thorough testing and analysis of formulations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal quality specifications.

Process Optimization:

• Work closely with manufacturing teams to scale up formulations for production while optimizing manufacturing processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Regulatory Compliance:

• Stay abreast of regulatory requirements and ensure that formulations comply with local and international regulations governing personal hygiene and household cleaning products.

Documentation:

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of formulations, experiments, and test results.
• Prepare and update product documentation, including ingredient lists, safety data sheets (SDS), and technical specifications.

Collaboration:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, research and development, and quality control, to bring innovative products to market.
• Engage in effective communication with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in formulating personal hygiene and household cleaning products.
• Strong understanding of chemical properties, reactions, and interactions.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for consumer goods.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
