As a member of the VSP & ADS Team, you will be a part of a dynamic, results-driven team responsible for generating the best experience for our users across the world. You will have access to the best-in-class tools to localize our products in multiple languages and provide the best user experience.
This work is not just about translation, it's about providing our users a world class experience that has a local flavor. You are responsible for all elements of the localization workflow from ideation to job completion for an AB test, feature productization or supporting the effort. Working closely with the product team, data products, SEO, and Business intelligence to insure the growth of our products and the best user experience.
What you'll be doing:
- Responsible to localize product content such as website and blogs in multiple languages such as: English, Deutsch, French , Spanish , Italian , Portuguese , Polski Dutch , Czech , Japanese , Chinese and others languages
- Translate and adapt locally the content for a better user experience.
- Centralize the process of localization to serve all the needs of VSP & ADS products
- Establish the process for localization
- Create and maintain a lexicon and terminology guide
- Liaise with products to ensure that translations are true to the original meaning
- Hires and manage the team specialist localization
- Optimize the user experience with a local flavor
What you'll need to be successful:
Must Haves:
- Bachelor's, or Master's degree in Localization, Language Studies, or International Studies
- 5+ years of prior localization project management experience, working on projects that involve language launches, software, and/or creative content localization
- Experience managing a Localization team
- Working knowledge of industry standard localization tools and best practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills
- Bias to action, proactive & innovative by nature
- Strong attention to detail
Nice to haves:
- Graphic Design experience for websites
