Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Analyst/Functional Lead to join our dynamic team, taking a key role in the development and implementation of Cloud Apps Script Projects. As a critical member of the project team, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring the successful delivery of the project objectives.

Scope/Level of Decision Making: This role will work within the scope of assigned projects that are managed by contractual agreements between Onix and Google and/or Onix and business clients. This role will lead in their space and manage resources to ensure the success of the development work within the scope of the projects but will work within a team structure reporting up to a Project Manager on any project assigned. This role will report up to a Team Lead position under the CMO for all other admin functions.

Primary Responsibilities:

Requirements Gathering and Analysis:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, processes, and user needs.

• Conduct thorough analysis to translate business requirements into clear and comprehensive functional specifications.

Solution Design:

• Work closely with the development team to design solutions that align with business goals and adhere to best practices in cloud application scripting.
• Develop and document functional specifications, user stories, and process flows.

Project Planning and Coordination:

• Assist in project planning, providing input on timelines, resource allocation, and milestones.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of the Cloud App Script Project.

Quality Assurance and Testing:

• Collaborate with QA teams to define test cases and scenarios based on functional specifications.
• Participate in testing activities to validate that the developed solutions meet the specified requirements.

Stakeholder Communication:

• Maintain open and clear communication channels with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide regular updates on project progress, addressing concerns and soliciting feedback.

Training and Documentation:

• Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users.
• Create comprehensive documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in cloud application scripting.

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the evolution of best practices within the organization.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Lead in cloud application projects.
• Strong understanding of cloud technologies, with specific expertise in scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative and dynamic work environment.
• Project management experience is a plus.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.

Travel Expectation: 30%.
