Job Summary

Free Play for Kids is searching for a creative and detail-orientated Graphic Designer to join our team on a part-time basis. Someone who can work independently, meet deadlines, and bring their amazing ideas to our community in a way that aligns with our philosophy.

This successful candidate will be responsible for producing visually stunning and effective designs across various mediums. The candidate will also be responsible for collaborating with the marketing and sales team to create visually appealing designs that increase brand awareness and attract the attention of the community we serve.

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in Graphic Design. Applicants with a portfolio will be given greater consideration.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant design tools.
• Clear up-to-date criminal and vulnerable sector check.

Responsibilities

• Creating visual concepts and designs that are visually appealing and innovative for various projects such as branding and marketing materials.
• Using creative thinking to solve design challenges and meet project objectives.
• Collaborating with the team to support branding efforts through content creation and design input
• Managing regular updates and maintenance of the company website to ensure it reflects current information.
• Collaborating with the Free Play team to understand design requirements and objectives.
• Staying up-to-date on design trends, techniques, and technologies to bring innovative ideas.
• Ensuring that all new designs adhere to Free Plays branding guidelines and effectively communicate our values.
• Managing time effectively to meet project deadlines and deliverables.
• Working a flexible schedule, including a high possibility of working late evenings and weekends based on organization needs.

Position Conditions

• This is a part-time paid position of approximately 20 hours per week.
• Work is scheduled Monday to Friday and hours of work are determined by your manager
• There is a high possibility of working late evenings and weekends
