We have been producing fresh high-quality meat products for over 60 years. Delivering all around the Niagara, Hamilton, and Toronto regions.

General Labourer We are currently looking for permanent full-time employees (this opportunity is not suitable for students) to work in our meat production area. Helping further process and organize meat products to prepare them for delivery. Opportunities to move into a meat cutter/butcher role to the right candidates.

Work environment

• Physically demanding and fast paced
• Handling of heavy loads
• Departments are refrigerated/Colder conditions
• Noisy and some areas may have odours
• Transport raw material, finished products and packaging materials throughout plant and warehouse manually, or with powered equipment
• Measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines
• Remove filled containers from conveyors and manually pack goods into bags or other containers
• Clean Work Areas
• Check products and packaging for basic quality defects
• Sort, pack, crate and package materials and product
• Preform general labouring duties

Abilities:

• Experience in Food Processing is an asset
• Ability to work under pressure to meet production deadlines
• Ability to lift approximately 50lbs
• Ability to preform physical and repetitive job duties
• A commitment to safety and quality practices
• Attention to detail and also demonstrate hand-eye coordination
• Basic English communication skills
• You are legally eligible to work in Canada

Note: WE ARE NOT ON A BUS ROUTE, YOUR OWN TRANSPORTATION IS REQUIRED.

This position is not suitable for students.

Hours:

Must be available Monday through Saturday between 5am-5pm – Nine hour shifts
