Job Responsibility:

Primary focus of this position is to run high pressure boiler (Cleaver-Brook Boiler, maximum pressure 150 psi.) as a chief engineer:

• Start / shutdown boiler;
• Maintain boiler operation – control boiler water chemicals, control TDS, perform boiler water tests, perform boiler blowdown, etc.;
• Maintain boiler logbook;
• Coordinate yearly boiler inspection and repairs.

Additional plant work is required as needed (i.e. assist in equipment preventative maintenance program)

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 4th Class Power Engineer
• Punctual and reliable
• Very good communicator and team player
• Tidy and organized
• Able to prioritize and multi-task
• Strong attention to detail
• Preferably familiar with food manufacturing GMPs and HACCP requirements.
