Job Responsibility:

POSITION: Packaging Operator LOCATION: Exeter

Hensall Co-op is seeking dynamic individuals to become an integral member of our team at the Exeter location. This position requires manual labour and offers many opportunities for advancement.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate a variety of different semi-automated plant equipment to repackage, and ship beans.
• Set up equipment and follow bagging instructions to meet product specifications.
• Preform high quantity manual bagging and stacking.
• Safely operate equipment such as forklift, and bagging machines.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure proper documentation is completed.
• Work from daily shipping schedule to assist with staging all loads in an organized fashion.
• Load and inspect containers ensuring lots are allocated based on packing slip.
• Minor maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.
• General housekeeping to ensure warehouse area is always kept clean and safe.

Job Requirements:

• Dependable with a positive attitude and the ability to work in a team atmosphere.
• Ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail with strong time management skills.
• Ability to lift 30KGs.

Required Qualifications:

• Previous experience in an agricultural setting or production facility is an asset.
• Highschool diploma.
