Job Responsibility:
Lynden International Logistics ULC, a leader in the field of 3rd party logistics for the healthcare & consumer goods industries. As a leading advocate of operational efficiencies, we take pride in developing customized solution protocols within our systems, to meet the needs of our client partners within the healthcare industry. Lynden International Logistics ULC is looking for a Checker to ensure that picked orders are accurate. This includes checking quantity, lot number, expiry date and product description.
LOCATION: 10 Corrine Court, Vaughan
WORKING SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday, 12:00pm - 8:30pm
REPORTS TO: Distribution Manager
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:- Verify the following information on every order: product name and size, product code, lot number, expiry date, quantity, and any other applicable information.
- Bring to the attention of the appropriate picker any discrepancies with an order.
- Bring to the attention of the Supervisor any discrepancies or general problems with an order.
- Obtain and properly match-up order paper work.
- Record all discrepancies found on Check Log.
- Other duties as required.
SKILLS/TRAINING REQUIRED:- Good verbal and written communication. Ability to write clearly.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Able to count accurately.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:Minimum education required: Secondary school diploma
