RHEA Canada is looking for a new Regional Coordinator in Winnipeg, MB to supervise our security system maintenance teams across Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

Reporting to the Project Manager, the incumbent will act as the first-point-of-contact for on-site maintenance teams as well as a liaison with the client locally. The role requires consistent on-site attendance at the workshop, with occasional travel involved (both routine and non-routine).

About the client and location

Working as part of the RHEA Canada team, you will be working alongside Government of Canada personnel in a high-security environment. As such, a security clearance will be required.

Tasks and Activities

The scope of work will include:

• Supervising the implantation of technical security systems involving multiple technologies such as (but not limited to): CCTV and video surveillance systems, electronic access control systems, complex communications systems (radio, intercom, etc.), x-ray machines, alarm systems, etc.
• Reviewing a broad scope of technical deliverables.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and/or blueprints (and suggesting improvements, as appropriate).
• Managing a team of technicians across two provinces.
• Monitoring work package activities and reporting to senior management, as required.
• Developing educational material, technical drawings, and technical manuals.

Skills and Experience

The following skills and experience are mandatory:

• Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience.
• Must a minimum of 2 years’ experience in managing or supervising a team.
• Must have a post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field.
• Must qualify for a Government of Canada security clearance at the reliability level.

The following skills and experience would be highly desirable:

• Any additional experience.

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
