The engineering team is specialized in: Structure and Suspension Design; Static, Dynamic and Fatigue Analysis; Welding and Fastener Design; Brake System and Safety Equipment Design.We are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in administrative tasks and possess strong organizational skills.
Job Description:
The Engineering Administrative Assistant will work closely with the Director of Engineering Process Control to maintain Engineering's documentation and provide support to the Engineering Team.
The candidate must be a self-motivated individual, who works well in a teamwork environment. The individual must have strong leadership, organizational, time management, communication skills, and strong attention to detail. This position demands a team player approach to project execution. The candidate must interact well with others and perform well under pressure in a production environment. The candidate should have a good understanding of Microsoft Office Suite.
Key Job Functions:
- Coordinate and maintain multiple Engineering documents/reports, schedules, minutes, etc.
- Provide administrative support to the Engineering Department.
- Order, coordinate, and maintain multiple regulatory publications, manuals, letters, and forms.
- Process purchase requisitions for supplies and other required items.
- Monitor, audit, and record the progress of the Company's R&D projects as well as prepare the Company's annual R&D Report.
- Follow and implement the Mill Test Report Procedure.
- Assist in maintaining the Company's R & D activities and reporting them annually.
- Assist in maintaining the Company's Intellectual Property.
- Assist in maintaining the department's training schedules and presentations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum Education: College Degree or BSC in Engineering
- Strong Technical proposal / report writing skills
- Experience with MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Comfortable in a fast-pace, high pressure manufacturing environment
- Ability to multi-task with multiple projects in an individual or group setting
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Strong attention to detail
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
