The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Lead Time & Attendance Clerk to join our GlencoreSudbury Integrated Nickel Operations in Greater Sudbury, Ontario.
The position will be based in Greater Sudbury (Falconbridge) Ontario.
This is a full-time unionized position.
Work location is not accessible by public transportation.
Duties and Accountabilities:
The Lead Time and Attendance Clerk maintains open communications with departments to ensure Unionized employees are properly paid in accordance with the collective agreements and Employment Standards. They export all payroll and time related data from SIMS to SAP.

Education and Skills
The incumbent must possess a minimum two-year College diploma specializing in business. The incumbent must have successfully completed the Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) through the Canadian Payroll Association's Certificate Program and must have four to five years of payroll experience. General knowledge of accounting and mining terminologies required. Must be proficient in the use of personal computers, in particular a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and SAP and SIMS. The incumbent must demonstrate strong analytical problem solving and communication skills. The Lead Time & Attendance Clerk must possess strong public speaking skills. Requires the ability to handle stress and have the ability to work without direct supervision. Incumbents must also respect the confidential nature of this work.
