Job Summary

As Production and Project coordinator you will work with the VP of Engineering and Operations in manufacturing LATYS`s products, this involves coordinating production activities with subcontractors and suppliers, including purchasing, assembly of products, and asset management. You will also be a liaison with domestic and overseas suppliers. In addition, you will assist the VP of Engineering and Operations in coordinating activities such as project management within the department and scheduling operational activities. In this influential role your performance will have a significant on the company’s overall product development and manufacturing. You will be part of a team of dedicated experts. Job Description

• Coordinate activities with domestic and overseas suppliers, including negotiation, purchasing, logistics, and quality control
• Management of suppliers and subcontractors, such as their selection, and the maintenance of good relationships
• Contract management, ensure that all contracts are kept up-to-date and reviewed prior to their expiry or renewal
• Tracking departmental projects and activities to ensure that projects run on time and on budget
• Support VP of Engineering and Operations in daily scheduling and activities
• Cooperate with Engineering, Software Development, R&D, Sales/Marketing teams

Skills and Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication, English is a must and bilingual (English and French) is preferred, other languages are a plus
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player’s attitude
• Familiarity with overseas purchasing processes
• Fast learner
• Familiarity with electronics (production) is a plus

• Excellence with MS Office suite

• Experience in developing supplier relationships
• Excels in working with cross-cultural teams
