Job Responsibility:

We are currently seeking a motivated Full-time Delivery Driver who holds a valid Class 3 or 1 licence to operate out of our Nanaimo, BC branch. If you are committed to exceptional customer service, thrive in a team environment, and enjoy working efficiently, we want you on our team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

This role goes beyond traditional driving. As a Class 5, 3 or 1 Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for:

• Operating automatic trucks with power tailgate/railgate for direct store delivery.
• Loading trucks in the warehouse before departure.
• Conducting safe and efficient deliveries and pickups following designated routes.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers on each route to understand and address their needs.
• Performing pre and post-trip inspections to ensure the safety and functionality of company-owned vehicles.
• Assisting with product and warehouse security.
• Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting (up to 50lbs).

Available Shift(s):

Full-Time NIGHTSHIFT: 40 hours per week, with required overtime starting at 10:00 pm. Part-Time options available for discussion.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Valid Class 5, 3 or 1 License.
• Recent and satisfactory driver abstract.
• Safety shoes (steel-toed boots).
• Ability to pass a criminal record check.
• Valid proof of SIN upon hire.
• Familiarity with Vancouver Island is an asset, given the local delivery focus.
