Job Responsibility:

Required Technical Skill Set:

• AIX with Korn shell scripting experience
• AIX Primary and good to have Linux as secondary
• Desired Experience Range: 8+ years

Must-Have

• Good hands on experience on AIX 6.1,7.1,7.2 operating systems running on power7/8/9 frames including PowerVM Virtualization.
• Performing TL updates and migrations of AIX O.S using different methods.
• Experience in managing Volume Groups and LVM using SAN disks.
• Experience in using HMC to perform various activities like DLPAR,profile changes etc.
• Troubleshooting of AIX Operating system related issues.
• Experience in network services management like NFS,SSH,SFTP.
• Experience in managing HACMP and VIO.
• Experience with monitoring tools and analyzing resource utilization of AIX servers.
• Experience in Automating operational and BAU work using shell script or any automation platform

Good-to-Have

• Knowledge of / Experience in Linux operating system.
• Familiar with ITIL procedures. Worked on Incident, Change and Problem management.
• Any automation like Shell/Bash/Ansible scripting.
• Good communication and client handling skills.

Responsibility:

• This position is responsible for the day to day AIX operational activities.
• 24/7 support of AIX server environment.
• It includes installation, configuration and maintenance of AIX servers.
• Work with various support and application teams to resolve/prevent various issues and escalations.
• Should take a lead and drive various projects independently.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
