Job Description

Through preparing refreshing and delicious beverages, the Lounge Bartender ensures guests receive a memorable experience while enjoying our exceptional Larkspur Lounge and Divas.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure complete knowledge of Larkspur and Divas food and drink menus including specials and seasonal cocktails
• Preparation of all beverages ordered by Lounge Servers and guests
• Provide service from start to finish to guests sitting at the bar including taking food and beverage orders, delivering food and drinks, and processing payments
• Maintain stock levels and cleanliness of bar area
• Complete required daily side duties
• Assist Servers with floor service and running drinks and food to ensure quick and efficient service
• Record monthly bar inventory
• Respond to guest inquiries about the Hotel and surrounding area
• Follow Health and Safety program and procedures

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ of bartending experience in an a la carte restaurant or lounge setting
• Well-rounded knowledge of cocktails, martinis, and specialty drinks required
• Good wine knowledge
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with quick table turnover
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Customer-service oriented
• Alberta ProServe Certification
