Job Overview

For entry level carpenters we offer training for the Red Seal Carpentry Apprenticeship. Basic requirements are you own vehicle, tool belt and basic tools, speak English fluently, take pride in your work, have a go-go attitude and work at a good pace. Have a desire to increase your skills in the trade, be physically fit, able to do heavy lifting and work in the elements with respectful speech and conduct in the work environment.

Our crew also needs skilled framers at the higher pay range. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in framing and be able to run the site semi-independently from blueprint reading to layout to framing walls, stairs and roofs. This candidate should be able to run the crew and keep production going. Experience training apprentices is an asset. Adherence to site safety protocols will be expected.

Fast and accurate cutting and wall building are two other areas of expertise that would be an asset. For all different experience levels pay will be negotiated based on area of experience and productivity.

We pay overtime if overtime work is desired.

Pay: $18.00-$36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
