Job Responsibility:

Ensure all departments have required chemical materials required for smooth operation, as well as various other tasks pertaining to the efficient operation of departments.

• Hourly wage: $21.06/hr - $23.21/hr
• Shift: 12 hr 4 days rotational shift

• Complete Preventive Maintenance (PMs) on permanent eye wash, shower, eye wash bottle stations, sellers units, high pressure units, low pressure water units. Maintain these units in addition to the low and high pressure foamers.
• Move and set up high pressure boiler units.
• Clean and maintain waste rooms and Oil separation equipment (DAF). Remove Waste oil to tankers and arrange to have tankers taken to Bio-gas plant. Transfer Day tank oil between plants if needed, pick up transferee slips and give to accounting.
• Transfer equipment between plants for Quality Assurance personnel and pick up Morning Audits and samples on a daily biases. Take QA staff to wells to pick up water samples.
• Various chemical related duties such as shocking and flushing Wells, Setting up chemicals in both chemical rooms, monitoring both rooms, and keeping them clean while ensuring required chemical are in place for Operational Clean Ups (OCUs), unloading and recording chemicals, replacing or rebuilding Chemical air pumps in chemical rooms and portable carts, mixing both Alcohol and Atlantic 12 for both Plants monitor and maintaining and recording, and filling Atlantic 12 drums and maintaining starch systems for both processing plants.
• Move office furniture for office staff; remove unwanted computer equipment for Information Services personnel.
• Miscellaneous tasks such as, removing garbage or debris from company grounds, maintaining flags at both plants i.e., change, replace, or lower and raise them, hanging or removing signs, removing and replacing picnic tables according to season, assisting with fry wagon as needed, retrieving parts from town as needed, snow removal, and keeping walkways, shipping docks, emergency exits, fire hydrants, pump houses, and valve rooms clear.
• Check and clean any spills outside of hazardous or nonhazardous material.
• Install or replace both paper and toilet tissue dispensers, and repair and maintain water coolers.

• Must have experience working in a production facility
• 1 - 2 years of Sanitation and Cleaning experience in manufacturing sector
• Must have a minimum of 1-year experience in Mechanical.
