Role: Salesforce DevOps Engineer

Location: Toronto/Calgary- Hybrid

Hire Type: Contract

Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Salesforce DevOps Engineer to streamline and optimize our Salesforce development and release processes. You will be responsible for managing CI/CD pipelines, integrating DevOps tools, ensuring code quality, and supporting multiple Salesforce environments to enable faster and safer deployments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Copado, Gearset, or Jenkins.
• Automate deployment processes across Salesforce orgs.
• Manage source control (Git), sandbox environments, and metadata backups.
• Collaborate with developers, admins, and QA teams to ensure smooth release cycles.
• Troubleshoot deployment issues and resolve merge conflicts.
• Ensure adherence to DevOps best practices and security standards.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Salesforce development and DevOps.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce DX, Git, and CI/CD tools.
• Strong knowledge of metadata APIs, deployment strategies, and version control.
• Experience with Copado, Gearset, AutoRABIT, or similar Salesforce DevOps platforms.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred:

• Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I/II, DevOps Center experience)
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Jira/Confluence.

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Pay: $55.00-$65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
