Job Responsibility:

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Payroll Analyst on a permanent basis within our People & Culture team.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing payroll processes, resolving critical issues, and ensuring accurate and timely payment for team members. This is an excellent opportunity to work cross-functionally with various teams and flex your expertise in payroll administration within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

This position is a hybrid opportunity based in Saskatoon, SK.

What you'll do:

  • Respond to incoming calls and tickets by researching and documenting customer issues while collaborating with local Co-ops, team members, and process owners in other areas.
  • Support payroll processing by conducting error reviews, processing special payments, administering year-end data uploads, and performing overpayment calculations.
  • Coordinate payroll adjustments and year-end activities by supporting mass balance adjustments, T4/T4A processing, and employee Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) for all CRS entities.
  • Perform corrections to timecards, ensuring off cycle payroll inputs are completed for all legal entities in Oracle.
  • Contribute to the development of reports for the core time & attendance/payroll function.

You will be part of our larger Payroll Services team, reporting to one of two Payroll Supervisors. You will work alongside other Payroll Analysts and Payroll Associates, supporting FCL, local Co-ops, and employees across the Co-operative Retailing System. This team strives to cultivate a culture of collaboration, community, and support.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Payroll Services and:

  • Have approximately 3 years of relevant experience in payroll processing and/or customer support on payroll systems.
  • Have a bachelor's degree with a major in accounting (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered)
  • Are familiar with UKG and Oracle (considered an asset).
