Background Our Federal client is seeking a Courseware Developer to support the evaluation, design, and implementation of a capital project focused on
advanced communication analysis. This initiative aims to enhance
data processing, secure information management, and operational efficiency while ensuring compatibility with partner organizations. The role involves assessing and integrating
Commercial-off-the-Shelf (COTS) and Government-off-the-Shelf (GOTS) solutions to develop a modern, deployable capability within the Government of Canada.
Qualifications- Minimum 10 years of experience (within the last 15 years) in needs assessment and analysis for training purposes on IM/IT projects.
- Minimum 6 years of experience (within the last 15 years) in planning and monitoring training rollout for IM/IT projects.
- Minimum 6 years of experience (within the last 10 years) in developing training materials and preparing end-users for training based on courseware content.
Responsibilities & Deliverables- Conduct needs assessment and analysis for training purposes.
- Plan and monitor training activities for effective rollout.
- Perform job, task, and content analysis to align training objectives.
- Develop criterion-referenced, performance-based objectives.
- Recommend appropriate instructional media and strategies.
- Establish performance measurement standards.
- Design and develop training materials.
- Prepare end-users for courseware implementation.
- Communicate effectively through visual, oral, and written formats.
- Conduct formal quality assurance on training materials.
- Present and brief courseware documentation to senior management.
- Prepare transition paperwork to ensure continuity of tasks and deliverables.
- Create briefing notes, presentations, agendas, and meeting history.
- Assess target audience characteristics to refine training approaches.
- Record and prepare meeting minutes and action items.
- Perform other related services as required by the Technical Authority.
