VOLUNTEER ROLE, this is an unpaid, volunteer position.

We are looking for a casual, part-time, volunteer, Recreational Therapist providing services in a multicultural environment to individuals with development disabilities! In this rewarding role, you will be responsible for providing nurturing care and a stimulating learning environment for individuals with development disabilities.

Responsibilities:- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate children's cognitive, social, and emotional development- Create a safe and nurturing environment for individuals to learn and grow- Lead and facilitate engaging and supportive activities- Collaborate with parents and communicate regularly about their child's progress and development- Modify activities to accommodate individual abilities- Foster a positive environment that promotes inclusivity, respect, and cultural diversity- Follow all licensing regulations and maintain a clean and organized classroom

Qualifications:- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabiltities- Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal- First Aid and CPR Certified- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of each individual- Bilingual skills (additional language) are a plus
