Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.
Position Overview
The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining Inventory and Inventory Information Systems in accordance with Department objectives and standards. The individual is responsible for generating reports, updating and revising Inventory Systems, assisting with supplies, etc.
Experience
- Demonstrated experience with Computers/Database/Spreadsheets and Inventory Systems required.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
- Complete high school education, Manitoba standards, required.
- Certification/Secondary education in computers preferred.

Qualifications and Skills
- Ability to effectively read, write legibly and follow oral and written instructions including performance of standard operating procedures relative to the position.
- Must possess a good level of mathematical ability including accurate computation.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Medical/Surgical Inventory items required.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills, ability to deal with inter/intra departmental members.
- Demonstrated ability to perform routine lifting and bending required.
- Demonstrated organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently.
Physical Requirements
- Physical ability to withstand continuous extensive lifting, moving and bending, stretching and pushing.
- Required to handle hazardous/dangerous goods in accordance with Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) and TDG regulations.
