Position Summary

A Full Stack Javascript Developer is responsible for the architecture, design and development of online research tools in the Metricwire Platform. You will be building and maintaining software to help researcher teams design clinical research studies. The successful candidate must have excellent ReactJS, Node.js and Javascript development skills and be willing to learn and adapt to new web technologies.

Responsibilities

· Take ownership over development of new and existing web applications

· Architect, develop, test and document applications

· Work closely with our team to translate the product vision into a high quality, scalable and maintainable applications

· Work on Node.js Applications

· Work on React.js Applications

Requirements

· Experience working with HTML, CSS, SASS, Javascript and Typescript

· Experience developing full stack applications in NodeJs and React

· Experience working with Web UI frameworks such as Material UI and Bootstrap

· Experience with RESTful web services and handling data in JSON

· Experience writing automated unit, integration and End to End Tests in Javascript

· Knowledge and experience with common programming design patterns, memory management, UI/UX and their best practices

· Knowledge and experience working with Git version control system

· Experience working with NoSQL Databases such as MongoDB and Google Cloud Firestore

· Experience working with SQL Databases such as MySQL, SQLite and PostgreSQL

· Passionate about learning and implementing new technologies

· Effective oral and written English communication skills

· Desire to work in a fast-paced environment

· Detail oriented problem solver

· Self-starter and quick learner

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
