Here's what you'll deliver:

  • Coordinate presentation of showroom vehicles.
  • Coordinate and maintain dealership's online presence.
  • Ensure displays are coordinated in a neat and orderly fashion.
  • Assist with writing descriptions for the used car inventory online.
  • Manage inventory counts (periodic cycle and year end), research discrepancies, ensure timely adjustments.
  • Maintain an accurate up-to-date vehicle inventory list.
  • Monitor and eliminate over-age inventory on used cars ensuring current inventory is in saleable conditions.
  • Prepare auction lists.
  • Ensure vehicles are priced according to market trends in order to maximize sales.
  • Liaise with vendors, suppliers and transport representatives on a daily basis.
  • Comply with strict regulations and requirements of the Ontario Motor Vehicle Industry Council (OMVIC).
  • Ability to work in adherence to company safety standards at all times.
  • Comply with all company policies, standards and procedures.
  • Other duties as required by management.

What you need to succeed:

  • Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or Business Administration is preferred.
  • 3-5 years experience in inventory management or used car buying is an asset.
  • 3 years of experience working in a used car department is preferred.
  • Must have experience in buying and managing inventory in an industry.
  • OMVIC Certification is required.
  • Dealer CRM system experience required.
  • Must have a valid Ontario Driver's License and good driving record.
  • Excellent knowledge about vehicle makes and models.
  • Work well independently with minimal supervision.
  • Digital and social media experience.
  • Strong computer skills, proficient in G-suite and Microsoft Excel.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Personable, reliable, courteous and versatile.
  • A proven self-starter who can work well under pressure.
  • A strong performer with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience monitoring turn rate and determining exit strategies on inventory.
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Well-spoken, friendly and articulate.
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Must be willing to be flexible with work schedules.
  • May be required to work on Saturday as per business needs.

***This compensation range will be based on knowledge, experience, and commission***

Job Type: Full Time - Permanent

Salary: $50,000 - $100,000 per year
