Job Responsibility:

• Job description:

1. Sourcing and purchasing goods and materials in a timely and cost-effective manner;

2. Negotiating prices and contracts with suppliers;

3. Ensuring timely delivery of goods and materials;

4. Managing and maintaining relationships with suppliers;

5. Developing and implementing purchasing policies and procedures;

6. Identifying and implementing cost-saving measures;

7. Keeping accurate records and maintaining inventory levels;

8. Staying up-to-date with market trends and new products;

9. Ensuring compliance with legal and ethical purchasing practices.

• Job requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration or related field;

2. Proven experience as a purchasing agent or similar role;

3. Strong knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in “reading” the market;

4. Knowledge of laws and regulations related to purchasing;

5. Negotiation and communication skills;

6. Analytical and problem-solving skills;

7. Attention to detail and the ability to multitask;

8. Proficient in Microsoft Office and purchasing software;

9. Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
