Primary Role of This Position In this role, the primary responsibility of the Receiver is to ensure that all incoming stock is received accurately and in a timely manner. The Receiver shall ensure operations are compliant with applicable GMP standards as defined by GUI-0001 “Good Manufacturing Practices” and GUI-0069 “Guidelines for environmental control of drugs during storage and transportation”. Major Responsibilities + Check all incoming stock against packing slips or copy of purchase order as required by weight, part number, etc. + Must be able to work in the fridge + Fill out the RGD Discrepancy Report on any shortages, overages, damages, etc. + Ensure accurate and timely receipt of products from suppliers according to prescribed procedures + Perform receiving duties in a safe and efficient manner and in accordance with company health and safety standards + Operate any machinery used in the execution of duties in a safe and efficient manner + Report all discrepancies (short, damages, and overages) in an appropriate and timely manner + Maintain a clean and tidy work environment + Work in both team and individual capacity + Participate in yearly physical inventory as determined by the company + Other related duties as required Education and Experience + Completion of high school + Must be familiar with the LogPro system + 1 year or less of related experience Qualifications + Must be able to lift and move boxes weighing up to 50 lbs. + Must be able to stand for a minimum of 8 hours + Must have the ability to read and verify quantities on packing slips, strong command of the English language + Basic Math skills and high attention to detail + Ability to prioritize and manage multiple requirements and handle high priority situations + Strong organizational skills Hours of Work Monday to Friday 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
